I just found something huge out, you can access blogger in school, so I'll be updating more often.
Sadly this doesn't lead me to my next point, like my introductions usually do.
I am going to list my various sayings, their meanings, and how I came to say them, I however am sure that i will be updating this often.
1. epic - http://www.dictionary.com look it up; it just happened
2. how 'bout them apples? - well how bout that?; inherited from my father
3. My God - holy shit; got from someone saying it in Russian
4. He seeks to evade me (can be made plural) - no real meaning; kill dialog from halo 2
5. Squadala we're off - used when going somewhere; YouTube Poop
6. It is said that only Link can give the king regular prostate exams - whenever i want to make the situation awkward; YouTube poop
7. Fun (fun, fun) - either something is fun, or being sarcastic; made it up myself
well thats about it.

well then.
I didn't exactly hold true to my vow to write on this reguarly, but I am going to start taking my friends idea, and start putting my random poetry on this when I don't have anything to post, rather than put it in my writing workshop (lol). Thank you. Thank you very much.
Heres a sonnet, sadly I'm not well versed in iambic pentameter, I'll just write it in the rhyming pattern.
With so very few standing beside me,
After they have left me down in the dirt,
I need someone to hear my silent plea.
Resounding within me, no one alert.
All of their lives are spent without a point,
I hope that mine can be to give them one.
To make them see from far beyond the joint.
And I see that I am quite far from done.
With so little progress on any front,
I see the pitifulness of my plan,
And so I push with all my strength and grunt,
One last, painful effort to bridge the span
I need someone to hear my silent plea.
Resounding within me, no one alert.
All of their lives are spent without a point,
I hope that mine can be to give them one.
To make them see from far beyond the joint.
And I see that I am quite far from done.
With so little progress on any front,
I see the pitifulness of my plan,
And so I push with all my strength and grunt,
One last, painful effort to bridge the span
So the curtain closes behind my back,
The whole entire world fades to black.

Soh, here's teh earth...
Well, I don't really have anything to say now, but for some reason, I feel obligated to write something. So I'll discuss the views of nerds, my people, from the bigger picture. The biggest things I have against the stereotype of nerds is the lack of athleticism, nerds are not bound to their computers, calculators, or homework. They have all the abilities to go out and exercise, and I know many people who have done this. Another thing is nerds being good at math, nerds don't have to excel in math, but rather they can excel with the command of language, or with computers, or with music, or with general, random facts. I have many more points to make, but I am falling asleep, so I will leave you with a quote that a very wise woman once told me. "Good girls go for nerds."

Emos.
For starters, I have nothing against teenage depression, I myself have experienced it, and the maelstrom of hormones, social advances, and other stuff we go through can lead to it. I simply am against the expression of it through the act of becoming or acting emo. I classify emos as any person who dyes their hair excessively, wears clothing made for the opposite sex, and/or publicly, and while out of place, comment about how depressed they are. I have a lot against this, first of all, I don't understand the concept of even dying ones hair, why would you want to change how you look, we're all given a set of genes that give us a certain color hair, and why would you ever change that? On the clothing note, I dislike it when i am forced to view anything completely strange worn seriously, I can enjoy it if it's worn comically, but rather when one tries to wear things such as tight jeans and a sweater, as a guy (coughcoughdanielcough), I am thoroughly disgusted. As for publicly displaying their depression, if they were actually depressed, they would be to consumed in self-loathing to believe that anyone would care about their depression, hence feeding the cycle.
As for other things that are related to being emo such as the music, the art, and the cutting, these all can be completely unrelated to it, some emo music is good, not most of it, but some of it, for some people, drawing in the "emo style" is the only way they can express themselves in the ways that they wish to. Cutting ones self, though a horrible act, I cannot group with being emo, because even though its thought of as the definitive act of emos, it is too widespread outside of the emo community to warrant such a grouping. If you are, or know someone, or suspect that someone is depressed or cutting themselves intentionally, get help, or confront them, show them that you not only care, but you're willing to help.

VoIP and Phone over IM and Texts
I, a relatively quiet person, prefer to actually speak with someone face to face over any of the four previously mentioned forms of communication. Why? Because I can see their body language, hear their tone, and see how they react to what I am saying. Of the other forms I have mentioned, i prefer the ones where you can hear the inflection and tone of the other(s) you are talking with, those being VoIP and phone. With IM's and Texts, it is very easy to misinterpret sarcasm and seriousness with truth and silliness, and it is very difficult to accurately portray emotions.
Sadly, over the next few days, i may not be updating this as much as i like, because the time I'm not at school, doing homework, eating, and sleeping; I am now spending at lacrosse, so for all you junkies, get your drugs elsewhere.

A new begining.
Considering that I haven't posted on this in around a month and a half, i feel the need to both update it, and continue doing so so that all who wish to read my views on anything and everything may do so. If you are looking for an explanation for the lack of updates, the clearest and most definitive answer I can give is that the last month and a half has been hectic beyond belief. But enough of the past. I shall now discuss.
I feel the necessity to share my views of desks. Desks are an arbitrary hindrance in the daily workings of teens, both at school, home, and perhaps work. I like the concept in theory, and when applied to those above the age of 25. I begin with desks at school. They are both uncomfortable and do horrible things to the posture of growing and developing children. Essentially they are three slabs of a solid material, such as stone, plastic, or concrete, connected by metal rods. Having to sit in those for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9 months a year, for the past 10 years has prompted me to do two things, slouch, relax and try to find neck support, doing wonders for my cervical spine, and realize that only if you have impeccable posture, with absolutely no flaws at all, one can sit in these comfortably. Desks at home, however I have come to dislike for other reasons, as one can get a chair that contours to their personal preferences when it comes to posture. I dislike these because they act only as a place to put your computer and as a collector for the inevitable clutter and "perma-crud" that follow teens wherever they go. I, a proclaimed computer nerd/junkie, recently moved my room into what used to be my mothers office, and have been living in it for the past two and a half months, and i have yet to move my desk into here because I have done something taken from the culture of the Middle East. In the aforementioned region, there is little wood, so the building of tables (desks) and chairs are rare. The compensate by having lots of pillows and putting everything on the floor. I have done this with my computer, i have my monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and computer itself all on the floor, I have two pillows so that I may both sit up and recline while using my computer. This takes me into my second point, as without a desk, the clutter that i generate is all in one, easy to clean location. My floor. I cannot argue against teens using desks at work, as I myself have never used one, nor have I had a job, and I have never encountered a teenager with a desk job.
I now feel obligated to share my favorite mediums for finding music. The first being the radio, one can simply turn it on, find a channel that plays music that they like, sit back, and enjoy the tunes. The second being friends, friends are an invaluable resource in many ways, intellectually, monetarily, musically, the point being that if your friends recommend it, you may probably enjoy it also. My third being Traction (downloaded at http://www.tractionradio.com), an internet radio that is meant solely for gamers, however, I have shown it to friends that do not fall into the class of gamers. I do not group this under radio, as it is a completely different interface and its mode of operation uses a stream of 1s and 0s rather than variations in the amplitude or frequency of radio waves.
I have gone back to wasting large amounts of time on the internets. I have become literate in lolspeak by spending probably too much time at icanhascheezburger. I have realized the potential of the internet as a medium for comics by reading every single Cyanide and Happiness. I have fallen to the lures of watching movies online, shopping online, and possibly the largest of all, I have returned to playing flash games. As today comes to a close, along with my offseason, i will no longer be able to waste so much time on the internets, as lacrosse starts tomorrow, and at the end of lacrosse I must return to running, and eventually cross country will start.
I must now return to the ever present threat of homework, as I have been sick for the better part of a week, and am returning to school tomorrow. But as a last note, if you wish for me to discuss something or enlighten the masses about my daily routine, or rather the variations thereof, just comment on a post or email me at JMorrow0@gmail.com

musics
well
popular music.
it sucks.
it doesn't sound good, it promotes shallowness in teens, and it either takes good music and turns it into horrible music, or it takes elements of a good song and uses them in incorrect ways to make it heavy on the bad stuff, and the good stuff is either nonexistant, or cover up the good stuff.
yea
i had more arguments
but i kinda forgot about them through the combination of studying and taking finals, and chilling from 9:20 yesterday until about an hour ago

A Second Day
This being my first blog where i've posted multiple days on it is cause for celebration.
This celebration will consist of me telling you, the reader, what happened in every period in my day. Big whoop.
Bio) sucked as always, spent most of it talking about WoW, video games, and other stuff rather than what we were supposed to be doing, that being reviewing old tests
World Civ) Turned in my day-late terms, discussed what i was going to do with the final, was evicted from my seat, spending the class next to a crazyperson named ty. We went over our month-oulde test, and went on multiple tangents on topics related to the test, and discussed maddy's essay.
Math) Turned in review packet, got half credit because i did "too many ones", put lots o problems on teh board, Freshman > Sophmores by 6-32 points
French) Sub, packet, online review
Lunch) Chilled with Lucie, what else is new?
English) Reading workshop, max's and aubrie's ipods blasting different horrible rap songs, teacher denying max and tommy
Band) Sightread, messed up march, and Pirates music <--epic
Study Hall) Made a playlist, drew, read pretty normal
there you have it
my school day
seeing as i utterly exhausted my listing possibilities in my last post
i have a proposition
every month, i will post what books i have read, songs i have listened to the most, what (if any) songs i have learned, etc etc
and trust me
you'll like it
or else....

i need to find a way to record myself playing the piano for the benifit of all the billions of people who are unable to listen to me play. if you are one of these so very unfortunate souls, with an idea about how to better the world this way, and your wits about you, please tell me. now that im on the topic of piano, i'll talk about the songs i play on the piano.
1) Variations on Sea Chanty - Arr. James Morrow
2) Riders on the Storm - Jim Morrison and The Doors

i realize that some of these are amazing songs, i also realize that i only learned some of them to entice the ladies. All the songs that are Arr. James Morrow are ones that i have figured out by ear, and have arranged them with harmonies into a pattern resembling the original song. Seeing as im listing things, i may as well talk about my favorite books, quotes, classes, and games.
Books
1) Amber Spyglass
2) Mossflower
3) Golden Compass
4) Harry Potter Series
5) Eragon
6) Dante's Inferno
7) Subtle Knife

2) "Oderint Dum Metuant" [Let them hate as long as they fear] - Caligula

4) "<(^.^<) <( ^.^ )> (>^.^)>" - Computers Everywhere
5) "There are other things in this world than being really, really, really good-looking. I plan to find what those things are" - Zoolander
6) "My style is the bom diddy bom de dang de dang diggy diggy" - Teddy Bears
7) "VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villian by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengence; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." - V
8) "Boiling blood will circulate...Just because of you I haven't slept in so long" - Rise against
9) "Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting" - John Russel
10)"My Pokemans let me show you them"
Classes (freshman year)

A First Post
Excluding my skills at titling, this has been a pretty horrible day to create a blog. Ill start from just recently, and go back. My dad has postponed dinner until much later, not allowing me to work on homework with my insachable hunger. I unwillingly destroyed a digital fragment of my past, back in a time where nievitae ran rampant, and life was much easier and restful. I have been sitting at my computer for hours finding various distractions to keep me from doing my late work for school. A brief interruption in the pessimistic ranting, possibly the highlight of my day was when my brother was driving me and two friends home from school, nearly at their houses, "The Great Escape" came on the radio. One of the friends is a very strange person, strange but entertaining. The bus had just came past, with a few people recently having gotten off and walking to their houses. My brother's friend rolled down the windows, cranked the volume up all the way, and started singing and doing the movements attributed with the song. We were laughing our asses of, and got our fair share of confused looks. Back to the shitty shit (heehee). Study Hall was teh suck as always, band was horrible due to my recent orthodontia, English was neutral, lunch was acceptable, french sucked because the teacher wasn't there, in math we had a discussion about the teachers daughter and her lack of initiative in basketball that I didn't take part in because i was doing late work, World Civ was mediocre, i had to take a test, found out that i had done an acceptable job on it, and i got to take it while listening to a very intellectual conversation about the corruption of the US media, and bio...oh god bio, bio is by far the biggest waste of my time ever. As my friends are hassling me to post, i will finish this rant later.
